Summary (100 words or less):

School Sanitation and Hygiene Education – India contains resources into teaching about hygiene with two different teaching methodologies: the Nali Kali approach (focused on child-centered activities) and the Child-to-Child approach (centered on child participation). It applies a hands-on look at activities for the classroom, first setting out the objective of the activity and then followed by teaching instructions. Suggestions for activities the children can then participate in are given. This approach is designed to successfully deliver sanitation and hygiene education to pupils. Activity sheets covering eye infections, handwashing, safe water and Malaria are provided.
