Summary (100 words or less):

This information pack considers several settings for WASH schemes: schools, health care facilities, workplace, orphanages, prisons, refugee camps, mass gatherings and temporary use settings. It details background information, hardware choices, monitoring techniques and additional resources that can be applied to global WASH programmes outside of the household setting. In addition, case studies provide examples of best practice and lessons learned. The pack aims to provide the WASH sector and those who work in it with a critical first step towards advocacy, knowledge sharing and consensus building.
