Summary (100 words or less):

A Time for Global Action: Addressing Girls’ Menstrual Hygiene Management Needs in Schools looks at MHM in Ten – an assemble of academia, NGOs, private sector and social entrepreneurial groups who highlight health issues. On the topic of menstrual hygiene management it developed five key priorities: building a strong evidence base for MHM in schools to prioritise policies, resources and programming; develop and share global guidelines for MHM in schools with minimum standards and indicators; advance MHM in schools; allocate responsibility for the provision of MHM in schools to designated government entities; and integrate MHM into the education system.
